Graphic Designer
Job Requirements:
Entry-Level Production Graphic Designer
We are looking for a dependable, detail-oriented Production Graphic Designer to join our team on-site. This position focuses primarily on production work rather than concept development or highly creative design. A large portion of the job involves repetitive, detail-heavy tasks such as preparing files, making revisions, checking layouts, organizing information, and ensuring projects are accurate and ready for production. The ideal candidate is patient, organized, comfortable following established processes, and able to maintain accuracy while completing routine work.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and revise artwork using Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign
- Adjust layouts, text, colors, sizing, and other production details
- Review files carefully for accuracy, consistency, and completeness
- Create and update documents, spreadsheets, and job information using Microsoft Word and Excel
- Organize digital files and maintain consistent naming and filing practices
- Follow established templates, specifications, and production procedures
- Complete repetitive assignments accurately and efficiently
- Communicate with team members about file issues, corrections, and job requirements
- Assist with other production-related tasks as needed
Qualifications
- At least one year of relevant graphic design or production experience
- Working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign
- Comfortable using Microsoft Excel and Word
- Strong attention to detail and ability to catch small errors
- Able to stay focused while completing repetitive or tedious tasks
- Dependable, organized, and able to manage multiple assignments
- Willing to follow established processes and accept feedback
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred; college degree is not required
- Examples of previous work or strong professional references are required
- Print shop, prepress, sign shop, or commercial printing experience is a definite plus, but not required
